Thank you for your interest in our Museum of Natural History Ticket Program.  Below is important information regarding ticket usage and benefits.

Ticket Details:

  • Type of Ticket: General Admission plus 1 Special Exhibit

  • Usage:  Each ticket is valid for one-time use only. 

  • Return Policy: Tickets must be handed in at the museum and are not returned to the library. 

Allocation:

  • Household Limit: Each household is eligible to receive 2 general admission tickets per calendar year.

How to Obtain Tickets:

  • Requesting Tickets:  Call the Roxbury Public Library to inquire about ticket availability.

  • Availability: Tickets are subject to availability.

  • Validity:  Patrons may use their tickets any day the museum is open. Please check the museum's website for current hours and verify the expiration date on your tickets.

  • Museum Admission: The tickets cover general admission plus One one additional may not include access to special events or exhibits that require additional fees.

About The Museum of Natural History

The Museum of Natural History is a natural history museum on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City. Located in Theodore Roosevelt Park, across the street from Central Park, the museum complex comprises 21 interconnected buildings housing 45 permanent exhibition halls, in addition to a planetarium and a library. The museum collections contain about 32 million specimens of plants, animals, fungi, fossils, minerals, rocks, meteorites, human remains, and human cultural artifacts, as well as specialized collections for frozen tissue and genomic and astrophysical data, of which only a small fraction can be displayed at any given time.
